Before designing a new performance linking the culinary world to other creative universes, Alexandra Swenden always starts by eating!

Taking time to reflect on specific ingredients, dissect the layers of understanding, analyze, breathe, smell, taste and find meaning.

Building imaginary bridges has always been part of her DNA.

She launched her own Brussels-based creative studio in 2012.

Between 2013 and 2018, she was also co-curator of 11 performances for Gelinaz !, an international collective of chefs (Lima, New York, London, Sao Paulo, San Francisco …).

In another life, Alexandra spent 10 years working in the movie industry in Paris.
